Terms & Conditions

ilmi Science Discovery & Innovation Center ("ilmi", "we", "us") is a subsidiary of the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation "Misk", a non-profit organisation registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ilmi operates at Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the ilmi website (ilmi.sa), the ilmi App, and your visit to the physical ilmi Center. By accessing any of these, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

You may use ilmi.sa for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• •Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, national or international law
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems
• •Transmit any unsolicited commercial communications or harmful content
• •Reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of the website without express written permission from ilmi
• •Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the website

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to any user who violates these terms without prior notice.

All ticket purchases and workshop bookings made via ilmi.sa or the ilmi App are subject to the following:

• •Tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the date and session specified at the time of booking
• •Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booked session will receive a full refund to the original payment method
• •Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session are non-refundable; a credit may be issued at ilmi's discretion
• •ilmi reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event or session due to operational reasons; affected visitors will be offered a full refund or rebooking
• •Group bookings of 10 or more require a separate booking agreement — contact groups@ilmi.sa

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to any user who violates these terms without prior notice.

ilmi memberships are annual subscriptions valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Auto-renewal is enabled by default; you may cancel auto-renewal at any time up to 7 days before the renewal date via the ilmi App or by contacting hello@ilmi.sa.

ilmi reserves the right to terminate a membership without refund in cases of misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

All visitors to the ilmi Center are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, facilitators, and other visitors. ilmi reserves the right to remove any visitor from the premises without refund in cases of:

• •Aggressive, threatening or abusive behaviour toward any person
• •Deliberate damage to exhibits, equipment, or the building
• •Failure to follow the reasonable instructions of ilmi staff
• •Breach of safety regulations within the center

Personal photography is permitted in all gallery areas for non-commercial purposes. Commercial photography requires prior written approval from ilmi.

All content on ilmi.sa — including text, images, videos, illustrations, logos, and learning resources — is the intellectual property of ilmi or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any ilmi content without express written permission.

The ilmi name, logo, and brand identity are registered trademarks of the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation "Misk". Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

ilmi provides its website and services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Saudi Arabian law, ilmi and the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation "Misk" shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

• •Use of or inability to use the ilmi website or App
• •Any inaccuracy or incompleteness of information on the website
• •Loss or theft of personal items while visiting the ilmi Center
• •Personal injury or property damage not caused by ilmi's negligence

Your use of ilmi.sa is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in those documents, in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

ilmi.sa may contain links to third-party websites including the Misk Foundation, Google Maps, and external partner organisations. These links are provided for convenience only.

ilmi is not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any third-party website, and the inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

ilmi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the website or the center following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
